Not sure what to say?

Marion, What wonderful times we had with you and Colby. How we loved to dance. Colby always showed us the example of a true Gentleman. I know he was your great love and I know how much he loved to please you. He was a wonderful husband and father and his love and dedication to you was total. He will be greatly missed.

Marion -- Julia & I just learned of this. We offer our prayers to you and your entire family during this time. Since the mid-70's when we met you and Colby thru Stauffer Chemical, Colby was always one of the most happy & friendly people we have ever met. He always had a warm heart for others and was willing to do anything for anyone. I know he will be deeply missed. His life is certainly celebrated by many for having had him as a friend.
Our prayers are with you during this...

ALTHOUGH WE ARE SEPERATED BY MANY MILES, PLEASE KNOW THAT OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND THE FAMILY AT THIS TIME.
WE WOULD BE THERE IF WE COULD. LOVINGLY BENNIE AND PATTIE

Mrs. Marion, Lance and family,

My sympathy at the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Colby was the finest man around and will be missed.

Having first met Mr. Colby and Mrs. Marion some 20+ years - I have always known them to be kind-hearted, generous and wonderful people.

Due to work commitments, I regret that I was unable to attend the services but want you to know that you are in my prayers and thoughts.

May God Bless and keep all of you,

"Miss Marion" and family,
I am sorry I did not hear about this sooner because I would have attended on behalf of the Percy & Dot Landry family. You taught (and put up with) all 4 of us kids and therefore you and your family will always be a part of our lives. That's the beauty of a small close-knit community...so many lives depend on each other. I pray at this time, that you and your family will be touched and strengthened by those y'all have touched and strengthened over these many...

Mr. LaPlace, my best Cajun boss, was one of the fairest and most decent person for whom I have ever worked. Therefore, I am so sorry to learn of death, and it is made more difficult because I am in New York on business and unable to attend his wake or funeral. To "Mama" Marion, his family and numerous friends, may your many pleasant memories comfort and sustain you.

Colby, I enjoyed working with you at DUCA. We know you are in a better place. Our condolences to your family. R. Paul and Sandra Adams

Marion and Family, I am truly sorry for your loss. What a Fine Southern Gentleman he was. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Look to God with all his wisdom and he will send you strength.

Mr. Colby will always be remembered for his kindness, caring, and his remarkable dancing! My deepest Sympathy to "Miss Marion", My FAVORITE fifth grade teacher. To Lance, one of my "St. Gabriel" class mates and to all of his Family. May God comfort you all at this difficult time.
