Not sure what to say?

We so loved hearing and dancing to your music. From the Club Fox Theater, to the Mystic Theater, and all around the Bay Area summer concert series in San Ramon and Redwood City. No doubt you are jamming with all those great Motown OGs in heaven!

Thinking about my dear friend, Coleman, with a smile on my face and a prayer in my heart for his sweet, gentle soul. Love from Khorshied, always.

I just heard this very sad news today..Inez was a dear friend from St Luke´s church and introduced me to Coleman as a music connection...I fortunately saw several of his shows. What a sweet soul and talented man...gone too soon.

So very sad to have heard this news just today. What a fine man and what a loss for all. My deepest sympathy to Coleman's family and fellow musicians. Requiem æternam dona ei, Domine. Et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace.

"Big Don", Although you may not still be here physically, your spirit is all around us and lives on. I hope you're having fun hanging with everyone on the other side. I had fun working with the band all those years and will keep those memories with me forever. We'll miss you but also know you're only a thought away. Take care my friend. See you on the flipside. "Little Don"

Sad day.... I am sorry to hear of your passing. You will be greatly missed.

In my first year at San Francisco State, I met Coleman and I new right away that I wanted to get to know him better. During my time in San Francisco, our friendship blossomed and our mutual love of music helped that. We not only became friends but were roommates for awhile across from the Panhandle. Like Coleman, I loved soul and R&B. A favorite memory is a night we went to a concert at the Oakland Coliseum to see Eddie Kendricks andThe Main Ingredient. It was a wonderful evening and one...

Coleman will be dearly missed. He was a wonderful friend for many years, always with a smile to greet me, and we shared many milestones together over our 27 years of friendship. Everyone I introduced Coleman to over the years grew to love and adore him. My deepest condolences go to his family, close friends and Pride & Joy family. May his beautiful, sweet soul rest in paradise with the sounds of music all around, especially Motown, R&B and classic jazz that Coleman loved.
