IDid not know that Coleman passed. Don't know what to say other than I think of our friendship often. Coleman was at a young time of my life my 2nd dad. He new what I missed. Love to Chris and Luce.

Rarely can one be described as the best but Coleman was the best. His surveying professionalism was the best. He was also the best in knowing the physical history of this great City.
I will certainly miss this resource. If there was a question about the physical city I always knew that Coleman had the answer. Never let us down.

My condolences and prayers for Coleman's family. I got to know Coleman over many years of fishing trips with Charlie McHale and Coleman. He was a great companion and a real gentleman. I still re-tell the great stories I'd hear from Coleman and Charlie of New Orleans and Tulane in the 1940's and 50's.
