Not sure what to say?

Please accept my condolences and sympathy for your loss. May this thought found at 1 Corinthians 15:54-55 be of comfort that says, “then the saying will take place that is written: Death is swallowed up forever. Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?” May the hope of one day no longer losing loved ones to death with the chance to see them again in the near future bring some peace of mind during this difficult time.

Dear Noreen and Tim I was so sadden to hear of Aunt Coletta's death. I have loved and admired her for so many years, I loved her dearly. I know that you will miss her terribly but she will always be with you. She was a gentle spirit that touch so many people in her lifetime. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Coletta was a warm, caring and sensitive individual. She remained a true friend after I "left" SAM. It was an honor to be included in her 90th birthday celebration a couple of years ago. She was extremely dedicated to the residents of SAM, and to all those she cared about. I saw her several months ago where I now work, as she was visiting one of our residents, and she looked great and seemed to be doing well. She's now with Scotty, may they both rest in peace.

My Dad, Sister and I had admired your mom as she passed out communion and always was so beautiful & cheerful to everyone. (My sister has been a resident of SAM for 17 yrs.)However, it wasn't until shortly after my Dad passed away Nov.26,2008 that we got to speak. What a proud, caring woman as she talked about her family. We were both blessed to have had such wonderful parents in our life for so long that we were able to learn the true meaning of life...giving. God Bless You.

To the family of Coletta.
My sincere sympathy to you. I had the pleasure of meeting Coletta 29 yrs.ago at St. Augustine Manor. I will not forget her smile. She was a genuine friend and we shared alot of good memories. Her wardrobe was unique but so was Coletta. May memories bring peace during this difficult time. Sincerely, Joanie and John DeCosta

Dear Aunt Noreen -- I am so glad to have known your wonderful mother, and have such nice memories of spending time with her at family gatherings when we were growing up. She was a beautiful, warm person with a wonderful sense of fashion! Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Uncle Bill and the rest of the Thornton clan.

It was my pleasure and honor to meet Coletta. What a special classy lady. She was a giver--a person who was always giving of herself to St. Augustine where I first met her. Word spread fast to patients who told me how saddened they were when they heard. I hope they have enough complete color-coordinated outfits in heaven so she can continue to look as beautiful as she did on earth. She will truly be missed by me and many.

Noreen and Tim,
I know it is hard to understand why people are taken from us,but find comfort in knowing you were a special part of such a well-lived beautiful life. Aunt Colette was one fine lady and will be missed.

His love for us is great and his love will give you both strength to continue on living with her love in your heart. Garry and I are here for you if you should need anything. We love you all.
