Not sure what to say?

I went to school with Colin at BU and remember him just as others have described, a witty, intelligent, and passionate young man. I was saddened to learn of his passing in the recent issue of Bostonia (the BU magazine). Although we had not seen each other since college, I will remember and miss Colin.

I have only just recently learned of Colin's passing and am deeply upset, not just of the news, but of the loss of opportunity to say good-bye to this remarkable young man. I so enjoyed our "lively conversations" and your wealth of knowledge and good cheer. May you be eternally happy in the presence of the Lord!

Though Colin and I lost touch after high school, he remains vivid in my memory as one of he kindest people I've ever met. He was, as Ryan wrote, always looking for the best in people. I very sad I was to hear of the passing of Colin. I was his babysitting when he was small, such a beautiful child who grew into a beautiful man. My deepest sympathy goes to his family.

When Todd told me about Colins passing, I cried. We watched our kids grow together and I cherished that time. Eileen and I are so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in our prayers.

Mr. Carey, you were, and still are, my favorite teacher that i have ever had. You made me actually want to go to school. You made learning extremely fun. You will forever be missed.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Although I have not seen Colin since he was 2 to 3 years old I knew his Father and Mother well. Our deepest sympathies to his family and friends

It was with deep sadness we learned of Colin's passing. His enthusiasm for history and his students was very evident during his years at RHAM, and his positive attitude was an inspiration to all. Our deepest sympathies to Erin, his family and friends.
