Colin F. Glynn, born on June 30, 2003, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on December 24, 2024, in Steubenville, Ohio, at the age of 21. Colin was the beloved son of Chauntel Freeman and Michael Glynn Jr., and the cherished brother of Aiyanna and Mychal. He was also a treasured grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.
A bright and accomplished young man, Colin graduated with high honors from Steubenville High School in 2021, earning an associate degree alongside his diploma. In just three years, he completed his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a concentration in cybersecurity at Robert Morris University, graduating with honors, magna cum laude in the spring of 2024. Colin was pursuing a career in federal law enforcement and was in the final stages of the hiring process.
Colin was known for his kind heart, sharp wit, and infectious sense of humor. He brought joy to those around him with his jokes and playful pranks, often targeting his mother, aunt Kim, and sister. A devoted Baltimore Ravens fan living in "Steel Curtain" territory, Colin embraced his love for sports with enthusiasm. He was an avid soccer and MMA fan and enjoyed connecting with friends through Xbox gaming sessions and spirited games of Just Dance.
Colin’s talents extended to the kitchen, where he loved to cook and refine recipes with his keen palate. His brilliant mind and eidetic memory made him a formidable conversationalist who could challenge any sports or historical fact with ease. Above all, Colin was deeply devoted to his family, especially his maternal grandparents, Ray and Deborah Freeman. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Colin leaves behind his loving parents, siblings, grandparent, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who will forever cherish his memory. His light shone brightly during his short time on Earth, leaving the world a better place for having known him. May happy memories bring comfort to all who loved him. Rest in peace, Colin.
