Not sure what to say?

I was not a friend of Colin but rather a customer. Over some 20 years I met with Colin maybe a dozen times to buy this and repair that. From first meeting I could tell that Colin was a rather special person. Every day I listen to music through a pair of fine speakers designed and built by Colin. A daily reminder of a lovely man.

Colin, I had many happy evenings in your home, where you always made me feel so welcome. Thank you, Candida x

Thank you for reaching out to touch my life, and for your friendship, and for tea. I will always cherish those memories.

My dearest friend,
May god keep you safe(I know you weren't a believer, but I like to think there is someone looking out for you. I will miss you and that most delicious turn of phrase of yours. Life has not been easy for you but you always managed to deal with it with good grace. I will always remember your kindness and generosity and will miss you greatly. Graham Mitchell

Dearest Col, since the 1960's you were one of my very closet friends; and you were my last link to Peter with whom you were inseparable. I recall your many private jokes together! Now a light has gone out for us all now you've gone. Remember all those good times laughing and enjoying our lives together, both at work and in our homes. And of course you and Peter disappearing to fix endless electronic equipment or large unpredictable motor cars. You never needed an invitation to see us, you...

Dear Colin, (or may I now call you Monkey?) you will be sorely missed; you were my mentor and a dear friend; a fount of knowledge and kindness. I shall never forget your wicked humour. Happy memories of your workshop at Lemmons, often pass through my mind. May you rest in peace.

I met Colin in 1993 when my son was born. We became freidns over the last 20 years or so and he was always a gentleman. I will miss him and offer my sincere condolences to his family and friends.
