Not sure what to say?

Sad news I did not know. Now somehow though I don't know how my mum and dad knew Duncan. There name was bob and Audrey Hughey from New Zealand. I have a news paper clip of Marianna doing highland dancing. I am John Hughey

I was very sorry to see that Colin passed away shortly after Bonnie. When we were all little he was like a mythical person to us all. Not one little girl was able to resist being in awe of him! Condolences and love to all!

Sunrise Over Eden Jeffery A. Jackson © 2008 The wind blows softly now that the dark clouds and winter storms have passed. The trees and grass shake off their coats of winter snow. Today the sun will rise over Eden, over pale blue skies filled with the songs of those who sing of spring, who fill the land with such happiness they awaken the flowers and they, in turn, will open their arms and hearts revealing colors and shapes we have never seen before. In memory of Colin MacKenzie, a wonderful and talented man. It was an honor to know him.

I have known Colin since we worked together for 43 years, and also became friends. I worked at the Highland Games and enjoyed his bag pipe performances. I will so very much miss him and his great sense of humor. We used to call each other often with the latest news and keep in touch. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss.

I didn't see Colin that often only on those occasions when the company was having a family get together. Still, he was my friend. We could catch up on times past, talk about family and so many other little things. I will miss him and his wife Bonnie and the laughter and stories we shared together.

I worked with Colin over 25 years ago. He was such a pleasure to work with. The best part of talking to him was his excitement about his trips to Scotland, as well as his most recent trip to Timothy Lake. I'm sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to learn of Colin´s passing. I have so many fond memories of both Bonnie and Colin. Bonnie was my dancing teacher and the MacKenzie family are old friends of my family. Both Bonnie and Colin were instrumental in growing and maintaining the Scottish community in the Portland area. They were both warm and wonderful people who welcomed everyone into their circle. They will be missed by many. I know I will always treasure my memories of them. My deepest condolences to their family.

I was saddened to read of Colin's death. I worked under him for many years until I retired over 20 yrs. ago. I have thought of him often. I didn't know Bonnie had also passed. Colin was very thoughtful and helpful. So sorry you have lost both parents in such a short time.
