Not sure what to say?

I knew Colin in high school, before Peninsula split into a two-high-school district. He had a gift for forgiveness, and was soft-spoken and kind to everyone. The world is a better place for his influence in it.

Colin was a great contributor to Washington Civil War Association activities. I certainly enjoyed his participation around the campfires as we joined in music and song. His physical presence will certainly be missed but I think his spirit will continue to warm the hearts of many people. Our sincere sympathy is extended to his family. --Kevin & Kayla Saville

I knew Colin when we were both young, untouched by our futures. He was smiling and joyful, kind and charming. He was loved by his family, and everyone around him. Reading his obituary I realize those great qualities grew with him into adulthood. If only I had kept in touch...I will think of him often, and our memories at the tennis club in Gig Harbor, where we were young togeteher. My hat's off to you Colin, for all you accomplished in your life. I miss you.

My husband Dan Johnson and I will fondly miss Colin's encouragement for Dan. He was a well respected member of our Civil War group.

I too will miss seeing COLIN at our Civil War events. He was a spark of humor, and a friend to all. His laugh and antics were infectous to all around him. He would do whatever was asked of him and always a bit more. I will truly miss him.

I allways enjoyed talking with Colin, he was allways so upbeat and plesent. I enjoyed being in the
Civil War Reenactments with Colin.
Till we meet again.
I will miss him greatly.

I was devastated to hear of our loss of Colin. He was a member of our Civil War Navy Shore Party of reenactors and could always be counted on creating excitement that enhanced our activities. We miss him a lot.

So sorry to hear of you loss in the passing of your husband. He sounds like a interesting person, I KNOW YOU WILL MISS HIM. Jan

He loved his gardening we could often hear him humming along well after dark out in his garden.Colin and I also worked together on several of my construction projects. Colin was always willing to help.He was a kind and honest person with no ill will towards others he was one of the good ones.
