Not sure what to say?

Dear Rooney family,
I never really knew Colin, but I did have a telephone conversation with him which was very entertaining and memorable haha. Though I did not know him I can tell he was a great person and well loved by many people. My deepest sympathy to you.

Light a candle for those we mourn.

Into a new life they will be born.

Do not look for them at the gravesite.

They are somewhere else radiating their beautiful light.

They have gone to a new world where there is no darkness, no pain.

Their light and essence will always remain.

Light a candle for those who have left this mortal place.

They are free to travel through time and space.

When we think of them, they are near.

When we sit...

Lisa & Jack and all the family,

Tommy sent word to me this morning of this tragedy. My words are inadequate but I wanted you to know that I am glad I knew Colin. I can still draw his face to mind so easily even though I haven't seen "the boys" for at least 9 years. I have such vivid memories of Dane, Colin & my son Eric playing together at some holiday gathering. I can still see Colin begging Uncle Tommy to take them to Toys R Us to spend their Christmas "bucks" or Colin begging...

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

to the rooneys
learning about the death of my friend was really hard to deal with. then when i was at the viewing and funeral and seeing how well all of you guys were trying to hold together just made me feel even more sympathetic for your family. he was only a friend to me and i was so sad. i can only imagine the pain you are going through is so much worse. he's in a better place now, it just wont be the same down here without him.

To the Rooney and Hause Famlies, Our families have been envolved with each other since the days in Centralia, when the next door was the Hauses, and next door to that was the Rooney's. We have all experience loss in our families and we all have shared in that grief. Colin contrary to what we may perceive, is not dead, only his body is. His spirit is alive and well and with God. He is standing side by side with him. He was greeted not only by God, but members of the Hause and Rooney...

Dear Lisa, Jack & Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss.
May you find strength in God and your faith at this most difficult time.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Maureen (Reilly) Leibig

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Rooney, Dane, Evan, and Leanne,
Keep your heads up...Colin is in a safer and more beautiful place than we are. Life is good, but it is also very short...Eventually, we will all be together. Be tuff!

Lisa and family,
I can't believe you and your family have to endure this tragedy. It seems like yesterday we were talking at the Girardville Parade and comparing notes on how well our families were doing. And here we are. Know that we are praying for you and thinking of you all often. Be strong, remember with a smile, and know that someday you will be together again. If you need anything, we are here for you, just a phone call away.
