Not sure what to say?

Truly a lover of mankind, Colleen knew how to make people feel validated.

She taught me so much in the 20 years we have been friends - the most important things...

"Stay in the kitchen, Dorothy dear, and don't wonder off when you have something on the stove." Words to cook by.

"When someone tries to hand you a bunch of garbage honey just cross your arms and refuse to take it, let them figure out what to do with it." Words to live by.

Jane & Dan--So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. You and your family are in my prayers. Mary Beth LV

Colleen was a gracious, always welcoming hostess and a talented story teller. I am so happy to learn her novel will be published and sad she couldn't live to see the result of her work. My condolences to her family.

Colleen had the sweetest

Not only a wonderful writer and irreverant storyteller of an era gone by, Colleen was a fabulous hostess with a talent for putting people at ease and making them feel special. How I will miss my dear friend and her infectious laughter.

I'll always remember my first visit to Colleen's home when I saw the breathtaking portrait of her hanging in her beautifully decorated bedroom. I told her she looked like a movie star and she just smiled. What a wonderful, gracious lady and a terrific writer. My condolences to her family.

My fondest memory of Colleen is visiting her and listening to her stories. She always had a funny twist to each one that lifted your spirits and heart. Nora
