Colleen Maupin Powell

Dear Powell Daughters;
It was such a pleasure to know your Mom and Dad. Colleen was our real estate agent in Gearhart in 1990. We purchased our cottage in December, just before an ice storm. Colleen and Gordon walked to our house, and yours, every day to flush our toilets to prevent broken pipes. It was so sweet, not to mention essential, for them to walk across town to our place on 8th Street.
Little did I know when we hired her, that Colleen and my mom knew each other in Raliegh...

I worked with Colleen for twenty years in real estate and they were some of the best years of my life. I loved our time at Little Beach and we always had a great time at our places at Black Butte Ranch.

To the Powell girls: I know we haven't been in touch for a long time. I wanted to let you know that if I could have picked my parents, Gordon and Colleen would probably have been my choice. They were truly wonderful people, and raised wonderful and unique daughters. I wish you all peace and fabulous memories. I know I have some great memories of your parents. Thinking of you all.
