All of us who knew Colleen knew she was someone special. Independent, self sufficient, well educated, well read, well traveled and a passionate activist. If the issue pertained to children, education, the city of Portland, the environment, or politics you could count on Colleen to give 150%!
We were more fortunate than most because Colleen and my mom became friends when she was six years old and that friendship lasted her lifetime. So for us she became our treasured "Auntie Colleen....
