Not sure what to say?

Colleen we went to enterostomal training together in 1982. Will always remember you

We love you Collie. We will miss you so very much.

So sorry to all of Colleen’s family. She was an excellent nurse, and good person. She touched many lives in her lifetime and will be missed. May you rest in peace Colleen.

In 1983, my father, a physician, underwent a major GI procedure by Dr. William Kisken for an advanced carcinoma. Colleen was consulted to teach Dad the latest in stoma care. She was skilled, patient, and thorough, and Dad just thought she was the greatest. With her help, Dad mastered his lessons and rapidly became confident in what he had to do. He succumbed to his cancer two years later, but he talked about Colleen often, right up to the end. She had an impact on Dad and the entire family,...

Worked with and respected Colleen for years! The best! Rest well my friend

Colleen will always have a special place in my heart. I'm beyond grateful that I had the opportunity to work with her at Gundersen and to have gotten to spend extra time with her and John when I worked in the East Building. She always brought such a huge smile to my face. And always gave me grief that I could get away with anything having my smile and dimples. Rest easy sweet soul. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.

I was privileged to know Colleen being a long time LPN on the medical surgery floors. She was a sweet, quiet very knowledgable nurse in all her titles. She had a wonderful way of teaching us all about wound and skin care and if there were ever any questions, she answered them with grace and respect to all. I was working in the IV Therapy department when her diagnosis became known. (((Hugs))) to you Collen and I am so happy to have known you and you added so much to my practice as an LPN...

I was privileged to have worked with Colleen in the post anesthesia recovery area.(Her 2nd. job!) Yes,she was passionate about patient care, but also her family and her faith were important. She was special!

I worked in ICU and she came to teach and instruct me on stoma care. She was a wonderful nurse with a kind, caring personality. She had a beautiful smile and I got to know her through our nursing practice.
