Not sure what to say?

Mandy, Mary, Stasia, Tim and family,
I just heard of the passing of Colleen and we are so sorry. Just read the guest book and all the love sent to you and your family and the celebration of Colleen's birthday meant she was so truly loved by all. You should feel truly blessed to have had such a wonderful person to love. She is our angel now and is watching over everyone. Love to you all.

This past week we celebrated your 33rd birthday without you. We tried to do it in style, just the way you would have liked. We released balloons to the heavens, one a time, for you to catch. We planted flowers for you to see their beautiful blooms, we hung a wind chime (of forks and spoons!!) in Colleen's Children's Garden in Bethel Park - actually in the Fertal back yard. Then we went to TGIFriday's to eat a lot of food. :-) Overall a good celebration. Although we missed you and your...

I had just found out, over the weekend, about the untimely death of Colleen. I'm still shocked! I graduated with Colleen in 1993 and will always remember her as a very kind and talented individual; one that will sorely be missed by all. Rest in peace dear and gentle soul; although you are gone from us in sight, your spirit will forever remain strong within all that love and knew you.

I will love you forever - Mary

Colleen you will be so missed by your little Andrew and all of us. Thank you for giving so much to the kids. He's blowing you kisses in heaven.

Dearest Mary,
My deepest sympathies are with you during this difficult time. You and your family are in our prayers.
With love,

Colleen and my daughter were best friends in high school. I adopted Colleen as my second daughter and I love her like my own. I was so very sad to hear of her passing. There are no words for the sadness and grief. Her memory will continue to live on in my heart... all the fun and laughter we shared along with the silly times... the very serious and painful times... the love of babies and children times... the 'mother' daughter times... the hugging times, oh those hugging times.

Colleen was my "friend hug" because she taught me that we all need 14 hugs a day. As a college freshman away from my family for the first time I was low on hugs nearly every day and didn't even know it. Colleen taught me how great it is not to be afraid to show the people you love how you feel - and she's simply the best hugger I've ever met. Thoughts and prayers to all who loved her
