Not sure what to say?

We knew Collin when he was based in New York. This was during the marriage of Collin to Elsa's sister, Ruth. His professional life ultimately took him far away, to different venues, and Elsa and I were in Africa when the marriage ended.

Collin was a cosmopolitan personality, one who enjoyed life. He was deeply engaged, when we knew him, with the African liberation struggle. He edited the American Committee on Africa's Africa Today, and had very broad connections within the...

I am so sorry for your loss. Collin was always very charming and supportive. When I began to study photography in college, he let me use his darkroom when I was home on break. I fondly remember visiting with him in Geneva and Washington.

May the God of all comfort help you to endure these difficult days.

My condolences to the Gonze family for the loss of your dear loved one. May you be strengthened with all power, so that you may fully endure with patience and joy.

Please accept our sincere condolences to the family and friends. Losing a loved one in death is never easy. May your hearts find comfort in the words found at 1 Thessalonians 4:14. A wonderful hope of seeing your loved ones again.

We were friends with Collin between 1955 and a few years ago in Geneva. He visited us in Papua New Guinea and in Botswana. We were together at Antioch New England for our masters in1959-1960 including a study tour in Sweden, USSR, and Poland looking at planning. Collin was with the American Committee on Africa for five years and editor of Africa Today. We worked together on many special issues. We enjoyed many visits over the years with Collin and Dominique in Geneva and Frangy and hikes in...

My condolences to the family for your loss. May the God who comforts those that mourn sustain you during this difficult time. Isaiah 61:1,2
