My son Brendan Gilchrist's obituary was right next to Colten's obituary. They were a year apart in age & both died from an addiction. They may have known each other as Brendan loved to do the same things as Colten. I am sure we are having the same feelings, which are almost impossible to describe. Peace be with you.

I do not know this handsome young man but sadly I do know this terrible thing that grabs ahold of anyone one. To the family I pray for peace and calmness. Remember him in the fun times and not the sad that this addiction can effect family and friends I know it's hard to not think about the what "if's" because I do still. So sorry for your loss

I did not know this amazing young man, but I was saddened to see that he lost his battle with addiction. I know how hard the battle is, being a survivor myself. Such a tragedy . I am sorry for your loss. I pray for God to wrap His loving arms around you all, & bring you peace.
