Send Flowers

Our beloved husband, father, son, and brother, Colton, returned unexpectedly to his Heavenly Father on September 19, 2010. He was born May 18, 1989 in Provo, Utah to Bart Allen Johnston and Ann Bunker Johnston. He grew up in Spanish Fork and graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 2007. He married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Stacie Eagar, of Salem, Utah on July 6, 2007. He loved his children, Oaklee Mae and Bridger, and was devoted to their happiness. Colton worked hard, but always seemed to be able to find a “little time to go hunting with his Dad and friends. He was also an avid trapper. He enjoyed a very close relationship with his sister, Lacy. When he wasn’t caring for his family, working or hunting, he was helping others. Service to others was a way of life for Colton. He was a friend to all he met. His Grandma, Carol Bunker, Uncle Ryan Johnston, and Great Grandpa Jay Johnston preceded him in death, and were waiting on the other side of the veil to welcome him home. He is survived by his wife Stacie, his daughter, Oaklee Mae, and son, Bridger (Salem); his parents, Bart and Ann Johnston (Spanish Fork). He is also survived by his sister, Lacy Johnston (Spanish Fork), grandparents, Brent and Elaine Johnston (Spanish Fork), Don Bunker (Panguitch), and Connie Lewis and Guilford Rand (Springville), his great grandparents, Mark and Joyce Lewis (Spanish Fork), and Thelma Johnston (Spanish Fork), and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the downtown Salem LDS Chapel, 60 South Main Street, Salem, Utah. Viewings will be Friday, September 24, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, and Saturday morning at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at the Salem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, there has been a trust fund set up for donations that may be made at any Zion’s Bank Branch in the name of Colton or Stacie Johnston. Please put the word “donation on your contribution.

Not sure what to say?

I was thinking about Colton today..He had great energy and was fun to have in class, he didn't enjoy History, but we enjoyed our interactions. I mentioned him in a training I did today. He's still missed and never forgotten.

Bart, With condolences, to your family and I want you to know that our hearts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Randy and Sisie Burnell
