Not sure what to say?

Dear Naomi and the rest of Comet's family and friends.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Comet's death. We were in California when we heard about the accident and we hope you will be good to yourself, Naomi, as Comet would have wanted that for you and for all of his family.

Comet was a brilliant student in my creative writing class at USD, great poems, songs, and stories -- so it never surprised me that he was a fine lawyer. He had a gift for words, in person or on paper. He...

Naomi I am so sorry to hear about Comet. Thinking of you, sending love!

Naomi: We wish we had magic healing words for your grief. So here is a hopefully magic thought. Several weeks after the death of my brother, I walked the Camino de Santiago. It was magical healing. Roberta and I are walking it again this April. Please consider joining us for all or any part of it. You and Comet are and will remain in our prayers.

Comet was an awesome human being and a great friend. I did a bunch of gigs with him when I lived in Pierre, SD in the late 1970s and early 1980s. My sympathy goes to Naomi and his relatives and friends.

John and family, sorry for the loss of your dad! Praying the comfort of his memories will help you, and know our deepest sympathies to you and family.
