Not sure what to say?

I didn't know Mr. Gibbs had passed until years later, but I was always thankful that he was there for me and my little girl when we needed him. What a true gentleman and a credit to his profession. There was no better than him. He had such a good heart and reminded me of my dad. His family should be so proud, as I'm sure they are. I'm sure he would want God to bless you all, and that is my prayer for you as well. If people bless your memory, you have been a good person.

How I wish I could talk to my old friend now, hear his wisdom and sense of humor in these dark times.

Coming remains alive in my mind: a vivid presence, a constant reminder of how a life should be lived.

I'm heartbroken, I just found out you passed. Though I hadn't seen you in some time, you were always someone I truly adored. Rest in peace Coming.

Jana, My deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear father. He was a true gentleman and a credit to his profession. He has truly left his mark in this world.

Coming, tears come to my eyes as I heard the news of your passing!! You were so good to me, such a friend to me when I truly needed a friend!! Always the epitome of what I considered a Southern gentleman should be, in the finest since of that tradition!! Your children and family are in my thoughts and prayers my brother, and I truly look forward to that reunion in the clouds one day!! Until then old friend, Rest in Peace!!

Coming was a dedicated giver his love was selfless.

The exemplar of a man of hard work and good works: the unassuming, generous, articulate, determined advocate and source of rock-like strength for family and friends, but most especially for those less fortunate. It has been said, "Next to love, the most important thing a person can give is work. Sometimes, a person gives both." Coming gave both.

James Gendron Gibbs, Jr

Coming helped me immensely when I needed it and for that I will always be grateful.May God bless Coming and his family.
