Not sure what to say?

Pat, Yesterday as I watched you, Debbie and Shari, and the six beautiful, young adults sitting behind you, I thought about Conard as the perfect grandfather and great-grandfather, and all the fun that all of you shared with him for so many years. He was always so calm and laid back and I know all of you will miss him so much as will so many others. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I cannot think of or envision Conard without a smile coming to my face. He was a total joy. I will most certainly miss him but mostly I feel so blessed that he was a part of my life.

Pat, I apologize for not coming today. I am Mrs. Jacobs daughter, Barbara. My Mom and your Mom were room-mates in the rehab center at the Christian Church Home. It has been 1 month today since Mom left us. We will keep you and your family in our prayers. Ruby is a sweetheart and your Dad was a very nice gentleman. He will be missed! God is always with us. With deepest sympathy, Barbara Ramirez and family.

We all miss you so much Pop. We will take care of Grandma until God takes her to join you in heaven. Watch over us and we will keep you in our hearts forever.

Pop was a wonderful man. I will always remember when we were in band and he and Grandma were always there for us watching and cheering us on. They were just as proud of us all, as if we were their grandchildren as well. My heart and prayers go out to each and everyone. Just remember, he may be gone, but will NEVER be forgotten!

The pain and grief of losing a loved one in death can seem unbearable. At such times, God's Word can give us comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) The Bible helps us to understand how our Creator and his Son feel about death. Jesus, who perfectly reflected his Father, knew the pain of losing someone in death. (John 14:9) May the family find comfort, hope and encouragement from God's Word the Bible.
