Mom it's been a year and a half since you left our world to be in a much better one. What can I say other then I still miss you so very much. I miss everything about you. I think what I miss the most is being able to call you when I need some advice or when something exciting happens. I miss you when I'm watching our shows. I sit there and laugh by myself just thinking about what you would have said. Everyday there is something I want to share with you. Your in my heart and on my mind...

Grandma you meant the world to me and I will always remember our Saturday visits talking, watching the Angels and Lakers games and your favorite show Sabado Gigante ( even though I only understood half of what they were saying). It didn't matter as long as I was with you. I miss you everyday but I know your in a better place with grandpa. I LOVE U GRANDMA. TE QUIERO MUCHO!!!

Concepcion Gomez(Concha,Connie)became like a mother(tia,,friend)to me.I was always looking forward to go to see her.The many times we stayed at her house, She and I would get up first, serve ourselves coffee and seat at the table for hours to talk. She was an easy person to talk to, and she had a very good sense of humor. It was easy for us to talk because we could do it all in Spanish. May The Lord of Lords be with her spirit and the family left behind. Pete Luna

From all the Puente Families in Brownsville, please know that "Tia Concha" was a very exceptional person. We remember her and all of your family from the time we had cookouts in Corpus or in Brownsville; all very happy moments. God will find a special place for Concha, along side George. We will be prayig for them. God Bless you all. Antonio C. Puente, Sr., Minerva, Tony Jr., Javier Jose, and Gabriel.
