Chicopee- Concetta “Connie” (Castiello) Dewar passed away peacefully on May 16, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones after a short illness. Connie is survived by Thomas Dewar, her loving, devoted husband of 50 years. Her brothers Francis Castiello and George Castiello as well as her sister-in-law Kathy Castiello. She is also survived by her loving children, Andrea (James) Blanch of Chicopee, Thomas (Larissa) Dewar of Boston, and Shaun (Lindsey) Dewar of Chicopee. She was the loving and adoring grandmother of 10 grandchildren, Kelsey, Kaylee, Rebecca, Jayden, Andrew, Kendall, Emma, James, Logan, and Thomas.  She was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Castiello (2021). Connie will always be remembered for her kind and loving heart and giving ways. She will be missed by all that knew her.  Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St., Chicopee MA, directly followed by burial at the Veterans Cemetery in Agawam, MA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Connie’s name can be made to the American Cancer Society.  Connie had a strong dislike for flowers and would be happy to help try to find a cure for cancer.  Following the services, please come and share your favorite memories of Connie with the family at the Riverboat Pub, 11 Southend Bridge Circle, Agawam, MA.  To leave your condolences for the family, please visit www.CorridanFuneral.com
