I REMEMBER MRS BROWN AS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT YOUNG BLACK FEMALES COULD LOOK UP TO. SHE WAS MY SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER. WE BECAME REACQUAINTED AFTER SHE AND ARNOLD ATTENDED THE 35TH CLASS REUNION OF GLENVILLE HIGH SCHOOL. WE KEPT IN TOUCH BY PHONE AND MAIL. SADLY I WAS UNABLE TO SEE HER ON HER RECENT VISIT HERE, THE INVITATION ARRIVED AFTER THE EVENT. I REMEMBER WHAT A GRACIOUS, WELL-DRESSED EXAMPLE FOR YOUNG BLACK WOMEN. MAY SHE REST IN HEAVEN.
