Connell Clines Stafford Jr.

Connell was a speical person to my family. He was a visitor at my house in Lake Toxaway. He and his wife(Shay) and girls came every Thanksgiving to get a Christmas Tree. They stayed and visit with us. He will be very missed by me and my family.

I first met Connell Stafford probably 40 or more years ago when he was working for Sam Nunn. He was an extraordinary friend, a quiet gentleman and a political genius. We hadn´t seen each other in recent years but his was an outlook and opinion I valued, as did countless others. God bless his family and loved ones.

Suspect you and Shay´s Uncle Buttermilk are swapping football yarns, or will be soon. Rest In Peace, sir !

Shay, I am so sorry for your loss. You and Connell were wonderful friends at Peachtree Presbyterian Church. We accomplished many things together.
