Mrs. Berry, May God bless you and your family as you strive to live without Mr. Berry. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and many who didn't. His work will forever benefit historians and families seeking to learn about their roots or the area, and many others. I was priviliged to sit with him and interview him during the last months of his life. He was amazing. Men like Mr. Berry make the world a better place.

I was with deepest sadness that Vernell and I learned of Burgin's passing. He was an inspirational person with lasting impact on those who knew him. We offer our deepest condolences.
