I was traveling out-of-state this past Monday when the Record Eagle and Interlochen WIAA unsuccessfully tried to reach me for comment. Tuesday morning I checked my voice mail and newspaper and read of dear Connie's passing . The headline did get it right --- "A GRACIOUS AND GRAND PERSON".
