Connie Carpenter, 60, who had owned and operated a wedding catering business for 27 years, departed this life suddenly on Sunday, March 3, 2002. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, 2002, 2-8 p.m., at Hughes Funeral Homes, Jefferson Chapel, 400 East Jefferson Boulevard, Dallas. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, 10 a.m., at the funeral home.
