Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear about Miss Castellanos. She always had a smile for all of us in our Spanish class. Good memories of good times. Barbara Rose class of 65.

I will forever be grateful to Miss Castellanos for my love of the Spanish language and culture. I will never forget her smiling face that greeted us each day in class at NDHS. She was a wonderful teacher and person. My best to her family at this time.

Concha was a warm elegant, patient teacher whose love of the Spanish language and culture was shared with enthusiasm
I can see her beautiful smile to this day
Thank you for your years at SJND ! Terry Hopping '66

Connie was a warm and wonderful person to work with. She will be sorely missed but warmly remembered by all that were blessed with her presence.

My fondest memory of "Miss Castellanos" was the morning of her birthday in the late 1960's. My high school friends and I arrived at her parents home to surprise her by singing "Happy Birthday" in Spanish at day break. Her mother invited us in and served us hot chocolate. She was a great teacher.

Thank you for being a wonderful mentor and teacher. I was a student of yours @ SJND. You were one of my favorite teachers. This is a great loss to the SJND family. God bless your family during this difficult time. Love and prayers, Denny Vuletich-Silva '76

Miss Castellanos, as she was known to us at NDHS, is held in high esteem. She prepared us for life with her gentle and compassionate ways. She shared her joy of the Hispanic language, culture and traditions with us which enabled me to offer the same to those I've met along my journey. She is loved and missed.
