Connie Dougherty

Connie is greatly missed. She was a inspiration and motivator to many. Her smile and energy would light the room up and invigorate those around her. The positive attitude that she exhibited on a daily basis was contagious and lifted the spirits of those that were down. You will always be missed and not forgotten. Thank you for the impact you made in our lives.

When you lose
someone you love,

seems so strange.

You feel alone
and want affection.
Your appetite changes,
you may not sleep,
you don't feel like talking
to anyone you meet.
But as time goes on,
things will get better,
and everything
just comes together.
And just because you smile,
it doesn't mean you don't...

I just learned of Connie's passing and was just stunned. I dated her sister, Kathi, in college and knew Connie to be a fun, loving and generous person as well as a phenomenal athlete and real force on the field hockey field. Terrible loss.
