Connie Hollar, age 59 of Porter passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014. She was born on January 30, 1955 to the late Robert J. and Gladys H. Spencer. She worked as an office manager at the Hobart Humane Society for 30 years. She loved her work with the animals and especially loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Jill Hollar of Porter, IN; Jessica (Michael) Manis of Troutdale, OR; 1 sister, Linda (Rick) Snell of Polk City, FL; 4 grandchildren, Jimmy, Jason, and Isabella Manis, and Jaxon Mathis, close friend, Robin (Jerry Root) Flick of Hobart, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, James A. Spencer.
