Mrs. Connie Woolard Hunt, age 72, went to be with her heavenly Father February 15, 2021.


Due to weather conditions, a memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Harvest Church, 2020 West 15th Street, Washington by Pastor Carl Perry and Pastor Jay Buckingham.  Burial will be later.


The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.


Connie was born in Beaufort County on February 2, 1949 to the late Frank (Dick) and Lucy Hodges Woolard.  She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Braddy of Pinetown, Summer Latham of Chocowinity; her son, Steve Braddy and his wife, Missy of Pinetown; nine grandchildren, Jay Jewell (Kaelin), Zoe Jewell, Merry Wallace (Zach), Elijah Braddy (Rebekah), Jared Carver, and Ali Franks (Petro); three great grandchildren, Jolie, Madilynne and Emberlynn.  Connie also had a fur-baby, Gracie, who was her constant companion.


Connie is also survived by two sisters, Caroline Braddy (Billy) and Agnes Latham (Lance).  She was preceded in death by three brothers, Cecil, Larry, Frankie and her sister, Tillie Braddy.


Connie was a licensed cosmetologist and owned her own home-based salon.  She also owned and operated several appliance and furniture stores.  From 1999 to 2010, Connie owned and operated Little Bear Child Care.


Connie’s passion was growing beautiful flowers in her yard and a magnificent Koi pond.


Due to Covid and safety concerns, the family asks that visitors wear masks and observe all recommended precautions.
