Not sure what to say?

Connie...one of the safest and most comforting person I have ever known. She would start speaking with her slightly serious and quiet voice. Then, zoom she would imitate my often cheery answer... and we would both laugh... Connie was such a deep thinker... she always made me feel special... positive appreciation . I miss her so deeply... Losing her gives me a huge empty hollowness... I will always value her wisdom .. and loveliness...

Oh my goodness. I just now am learning of your passing, dear Connie. I wasn't aware as i was away in Toronto for almost two years, caring for my Paul, who we had spoken about during many of our wonderful talks, and was with him until he passed. I was about to call you after all this time, and am now seeing you are no longer hear. Beautiful you, you are missed by so so many, i know that. A million blessings to you ~ straight into your everlasting Soul. With eternal love. Linda...

Gary and Cody, I´m so sorry to hear of your loss. I have fond memories of Connie´s bright, cheery, gentle presence, always ready to add a funny quip to lighten the conversation. My condolences to you and your extended family .

I meet Connie through my mom, Joyce Bewley, who were good friends and co-workers. Meeting Connie once, I completely understood their deep friendship. Mom's stories of Connie will forever be remembered with fondness and smiles.

Please accept our sincerest and heartfelt condolences. Connie brought so much light. We had the pleasure of getting to know her when she volunteered in our Family Centre at the James Bay Community Project. She brought such warmth and positive energy with her and was always interested in connecting with adults and children alike. It was clear she just loved people and getting to know everyone. We all enjoyed chatting with her and she made friends easily. She loved music and one of the happy...

Connie was a member of UJAM almost from its inception. She was generous with her time and with her attention to other singers. She will be sorely missed and our condolences go out to her family and friends.

We are thinking of Cody, Nikki and Gary at this sorrowful time. Condolances to her PEI family as well. Connie, Cody and Gary were across the street neighbours in Fairfield and we always enjoyed Connie's quick wit and great east coast stories. Connie contributed to improved mental health in our community and her dedication to those in need will be missed. Peggy and Paul (Palmer)
