Not sure what to say?

Just learned of her passing. Teacher 101, they say, the school is run by the secretary and the custodian. They got that right. Connie was the absolute best. She was the heart and soul of Alta View Elementary. She was the bedrock of our school. Period.

Connie was an amazing person! As she went through her struggles with cancer, she still managed to keep a smile on her face and was there to help and cheer others. She is truly an inspiration to those who knew her! Connie's laugh was contagious and it was so nice to hear her "cackle" when she was our secretary at Alta View. I know one year, after Connie had retired, when I was unable to start the school year because of health problems, she and Nancy (Newton) spent their own time and effort...

As odd as it may be from me, here goes anyway.
I met Connie back in March 1991. I bought her 1982 Buick Regal from her. She knew I really wanted the car and was very patient to let me work out the details to buy it. I still have the car and am restoring it and am still quite obsessed with it. I'd hoped to call Connie when it's all restored and tell her how much I appreciate her having sold me the car, and even offering to take her for a ride in it. I know this may seem silly to be...

I’m so sad to hear about Connie. She was such an endearing lady. Full of wisdom, advice, adventurous stories, and contagious laughter. I know that Connie is now free from pain and safe in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.

Connie, I was heart broken to hear of your passing, although I am grateful that you are out of your pain.. I hope you knew how much I Love you. You and Dixie we’re so much fun and both seemed like my little sisters, being 7 years younger. My family. loved your parents and your big brothers. I hope those who passed on earlier are spending time together in Heaven! I can think of so many fun times we had together! I don’t know your son and grandsons but I have heard so many nice things about...

I have fond memories of Connie and family while growing up.
My dad (Verl Wilde) and I would travel to coalville many times during the year to visit family. One year I asked Connie if she would help me with the family reunion I was in charge of that year. I was relieved when she accepted the task unconditionally.
After my mom's passing Connie would occasionally accompany dad to his favorite restaurant the Pagoda. Dad would always talk about his fondness for Connie.
Connie will...

I grew up with Connie and as her cousin ,have many fond memories of her and her family. I was saddened to learn of her passing. Since we were unable to hold our Wilde reunion last summer I was looking forward to seeing her this summer. That reunion will have to wait awhile. Rita Wilde Holtry

Connie, my favorite Calderwood cousin, was my friend when we were growing. Every summer I got to spend a week with her in Coalville being teased by her two older brothers same as if I were Connie's sister. Through those times I became better acquainted with my Coalville relatives. I made memories and connections to family and ancestors that have stayed with me. We had the best times playing at Grandma & Grandpa Calderwood's home in Henefer. We always laughed when we recalled how Grandma...
