Today's service honored a remarkable woman; that fact was attested to by over 500 people in attendance. It honored both Connie and the Lord she so selflessly served. Her own life was marked by tragedy and yet her suffering served to fuel her empathetic responses to others who suffered. A story was told today of a conversation just two weeks before Connie passed into heaven; she could no longer move but she could say a few words.
