Not sure what to say?

Connie and Monte were part of my life from as long as I can remember! My father, Claude Schmitz, thought the world of them. Those years with the Choral-Aires were a real highlight in Dad´s life. He felt he had a little to do with Connie and Monte moving from a dating couple to an engaged couple! I guess we´ll never know. I´m so sorry to hear that Connie is gone. It´s hard to believe. I wish strength and faith to all of us mourning her loss. Natalie Schmitz Hill

Oh sweet Connie. You will always be a part of my worship experience. You have the voice of an angel. Every now and then give your voice a short break and play a game of Bunco. Can still hear you say: Ready Spaghetti? Love you forever.

Having known Connie since the day I was born, I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time around her until the Ottos moved to Greeley. I will always remember her singing and piano playing, but what I loved the most was her sense of humor, her laugh, and her smile. Until we meet again dear lady .

What a wonderful woman- kind and always smiling-. I remember Connie and her Women´s group meeting at a local coffee shop and would always spend the time to ask how i was doing - very thoughtful and kind-

I met Connie working at the flower shop. She was like the energizer bunny on holidays. She just kept going and going. She always kept things fun. She had a little saying when she would finish a flower arrangement,Judy J. Can share that if you don´t already know. She always had a smile . I was so sad when I found out about her Alzheimer´s diagnosis. It´s a terrible thing. She will be missed may she rest in peace. She made the world a better place. Sharon Holmes

Connie was my singing buddy in the Greeley Chorale for many years. My favorite memory was when she was singing a solo in the Votiv Kirke in Vienna, Austria--she sang a particularly beautiful high note and a piece of plaster fell from the ceiling! Another memory is rehearsing the group pieces for the newly formed Pops and Pasta in her lovely home and walking in her gorgeous garden. She was such a special person and very much loved.

Dear Family, I loved Connie because we were "name" sisters, sang together, and she had the greatest smile. I was blessed to be with her on some Chorale trips, Concerts, Rehearsals, Pops n Pasta. She was a huge blessing to my heart.. I was glad I got to go see her while she was still at home. Take care of yourselves thru your grief. I will continue to pray for all of you. Much love, Connie Long, Alto Greeley Chorale mate since 1998

Her flower gardens were beautiful!

I was on the trip to Japan and Korea with the ChoralAires in 1958. Monte and Connie were special people. Monte sang at our wedding in Jan. 1959. You kids can be very proud of your parents and their talents. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
