Not sure what to say?

Its already been two months since your passing and my dear husband Daves passing too. The memories linger on......... and will never fade. I love you both so much and miss you both. I will never ever forget either of you and think of both daily. Love to both of you and to your family Connie. Love Becky....thanks for the memories that can never be taken away.

JoAnn and family, I am sorry for the tardiness in expressing my sincere prayers for your loss. I remember sitting at Todd's Auto Body for hours on end while our husbands chatted about everything and everybody. I remember one time when Connie tried to get Blaine and I to take home a new batch of kittens and all 3 of the kids cried. After that I couldn't have taken a Toedtli kid's kitten no matter how many they had.... Over the years, cars came and went, but friendship stayed above all. ...

How does one even begin to express such deep feelings and a lifetime of memories of a great brother. He did so much to boost my lack of confidence many times. Many times he said he and brother Vern would never have gone in the business they were in had it not been for my husband, Tim. He just never realized that he was the one with the charm and ability to further that business. I loved his visits to us in Redding, California and it was always during August when Redding was so very hot....

While attending my Grandma's funeral yesterday I learned of Connie's passing. When I was 18 (19 yrs ago)I took my truck to Connie. With all of the damage, I wanted to repaint the whole truck which they didn't do. Not only did Connie offer to repaint the truck but he let me come in and do some of the basic prep work. The paint still looks great & he always treated me like the most important customer. I am lucky to have met him.

To the Toedtli Family.
Knowing the Toedtli family from the early 1950's it became quite clear that Connie was one of the gifted ones. He had the ability to make everyone he met feel like they were special. He was one that could walk into a room and within 30" he knew most everyone and everyone wanted to know him. That is a gift few people have. Your memories will carry you through.

I would like to offer my condolences to the family. My memories of Connie include migrain cures to being the lady with the nice cans, oil cans. He could sure make me laugh. I'll just miss him.
