Conrad J. Drescher Jr.

Conrad Drescher was an incredible man, as was his wife and family! I am just running across this Obit. by accident, I am so sad. Con´s son Jim, was the closest friend I have ever had. I was the last person he talked to prior to his disappearance and presumed death in the late 1970´s. I am haunted by this horror to this day. As the years came and went, I lost track with Conrad, Marge and Kathryn... my loss to be sure! Knowing this family, was and is today one of the most important and special...

Con and Marjorie were family through marriage and two of the kindest people I have ever known. I don't think I ever remember seeing Con without a smile on his face and I don't think he EVER raised his voice. I just know his smile is the biggest ever now that
he is reunited with Marjorie, Kathy and Jim in heaven.

I am assuming that this man worked at H. C. Weber Construction back in the day. I remember my dad, Bill Rachwitz (Munger Bill) mention him often- always as a respected friend. May God wrap his arms around you as you say Goodbye. There were so many fine men in that era.

Prayers for your family during this difficult time. I will always remember Con as such as gentle soul with a heart and smile a mile wide.
