Conrad Giovanni "John" Gilbert

Today, I just found out John died on July 13. John and I attended grade school for many years and we enjoyed playing soccer at recess. I am sad to hear he is gone, early in life. I still see him on the playground, this loud, chuckling, happy young boy - enjoying life as a kid. We connected on social media as I now live in VA as a Navy retiriee. I would have loved to share a beer with my old friend and will do someday

I drove with John out of Quad Avenue decades ago. I will always remember his home made eggnog. He was a good man. My condolences.
