Constance Horner Adams, 47, a lifelong resident of Rittman, Ohio, formerly an employee of Imperial Plastics Company in Rittman, died at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital on Saturday, December 2, 2000. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 6, 2000, 2 p.m., at St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Marshallville, Ohio, officiated by the Rev. Thomas Fox. Burial will be at St. Michaels Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to Kidney Foundation of Wayne County, 5318 Tannerville Road, Orrville, OH 44667. Arrangements entrusted to Gillman Funeral Home, Rittman, Ohio.

I just wanted to send my sypathy to the family of such a generous and nice woman. Although I did not know her personally, I encountered a unique experience with "Connie". She was behind me in line at a grocery store in Akron, when I was short money, and this store did not take personal checks. So she made me a very generous offer, that I may write her a check and she would pay the cashier the cash she had, this amount was somewhere around $40.00. She did not know me at all, I was a stranger...
