Connie was my godmother and I so am lucky to have known her my whole life. She was very influential in my life and I admired her tremendously. I read most of her books as they came out and I was so in awe of her talents. I will read her latest book soon. I am writing my own book which, she was my biggest cheerleader of. When I became pregnant in 1978, she sent me her book on childbirth which changed the birthing process for me and also for my daughter when she had children. She had become a...

I studied Constance Bean's childbirth book during most of my pregnancies. When my second oldest of six became so ill with Lyme disease that has gone on for decades, Constance and I reconnected and it was a sweet connection and helpful as well. What an advocate and brilliant force in our midst over the years and I am deeply grateful to have contacted her and benefitted from her kindness as well. So sorry to have her "leave us all."
