Aunt Connie was always very kind to me. As with my other cousins, we had many good memories and family parties in her home - which I will never forget.

Connie and I were friends for many, many years. One or our greatest adventures was at Mrs. Burdick's Boarding House in SLC where Connie would bring vegetables in from her family's farm.
She was a great friend and I could count on her always. If you needed anything or just someone to talk to, she was always there and shared her own life as well. She had a fabulous sense of humor. Her strength was an inspiration. She could always find the humor even during her most difficult times.
I will remember her fondly.
My sincerest condolences to all of the family.

I extend my prayers and love to Connies family,on thier loss of a Grand and Great Lady. She often spoke of her family with Love. I worked with Connie at Utah Power for many years, where I observed her sensitivity and kindness in working with her customers, and always a smile on her face. We became good friends, along with other friends we went on many fun trips, many luncheons, and especially enjoyed attending the many Canyon Symphonys, with our baskets filled with goodies, Connies being the best with all the Greek food snacks, and along with some good wine and our fancy wine glasses. We did so enjoy the concerts in the mountains. Connie was a wonderful experience in everyones life she touched, with her Positive attitude, Great sence of humor, wonderful life stories, and best of all her hearty laugh. I will miss my Dear Friend.

To The Family of Connie,
I am devastated to hear of the passing of Connie. I just went to visit her today because she had not been answering her phone for the last several days I had been calling. My son finally drove me to her home and a neighbor informed me of her passing. Wilma, was really my best friend in high school therefore I met Connie and loved her as well The whole family was wonderful. They really added a lot of happiness to my childhood. One of my most favorite times in high school was to visit the Loizos family on week-end sleepovers. God Bless you all.
Love,

Dear Cardon Family,
I knew your mom through my mom,Tula Pappas Zambos and my Aunt Wilma Pappas. My aunt recently told me again about her and my mom's trip to "Murray" to get produce from Connie's family farm to sell in their little corner grocery store across the street from their house. They lived in Magna and back then Murray was a long trip!
It was very difficult when my mom passed away as it will be for you but everyday there is always something that will remind you of her and puts a smile on your face. Your mom was a sweet woman and I will always think fondly of her.
May Her Memory be Eternal.

Aunt Connie, it was my privilege to become part of the family and to get to know you. I'll never forget the day we girls spent in your kitchen making koulerakia :) Your intelligence and independence and giant heart shine still, and your memory will be eternal. I wish I could have had the chance to say goodbye but I'm out of the country on a business trip, so I'm saying it here. Lots of love, and say hi to my mom for us :) Love, Liz, (and Scot, Aerin, and Steph)

I have since retired, but for many years, Connie was a patient in my dental office. It was a pleasure to have her come into the office. She was always happy and brought a breath of fresh air when she came, even though it was not her favorite place to be. What a great lady. We will miss her. My love and sympathy to members of the family.

My mother, Arjean Burraston, was friends with Connie when they were young. They drove to CA together as young girls in the early 1940's. I have heard about Connie all of my life! How wonderful to feel like I got to know her a little bit by reading about her. She sounds like a lovely woman who left a wonderful legacy. My love and thoughts to all of you. Cardon family, you know her memory will be eternal. Connie was the love of our lives, the life of the party and grand dame of dance. "Little steps" What a big hearted woman who knew things could always be worse because she had such an optimistic outlook. Thank you for sharing her with us and thank you Mary Ellen for making sure she could get to the parties when she physically could not. Thank you for your loving caregiving to this wonderful belle of the ball.

Such great memories from my childhood, running about aunt Connie's house. Later in life, many hours spent chatting with my mother and Connie. Connie amazed me with the keen understanding she possessed of the world around us, and the sharp wit she always had. She will be missed.

We will all miss Aunt Connie. We loved her very much. She was a presence in our life above most others.
We all have an inner strength that we need to draw on at one point or another in our lives.......Aunt Connie taught us how to do it. She had much hardship and she conquered it. She was a reminder that women deserve the same repect and rights as men. She raised three independent people who are remarkable and unique in their own way. I am proud to be part of this family and will miss my Aunt Connie.
