Read MoreI met Constance at an alternative education conference in Iowa in the early 1990s, where she was a speaker. She was warm, funny, and inspiring. I am sorry I fell out of touch with her. I taught her curriculum as a newbie teacher and I'm sorry I fell out of touch with her. I have a copy of her curriculum and will hang on to it for a bit (I am now old an de-cluttering). Used her program in Wolcott NY in the early 90's and she came to visit us. She was lovely and I've never forgotten her and the program she developed helped so many high school kids. I am now retired and homeschooling a few kids and have been looking for this curriculum everywhere and can't find it. She certainly was a gem and her work helped so many. I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing.
