Not sure what to say?

Connie was One-of-a-Kind! I was honored to share a few of her many adventures with her, as well as her love of mathematics and teaching it. The world and her many friends and recipients of her generosity are poorer for her loss, but better for her presence.

I will never forget Connie and the happy times we had together at Stanford so many years ago. She was a wonderful woman, and went on to a full, well-deserved, great life of teaching, travel, sailing, with her many friends.

So sad to read today that my favorite teacher from when I went to Ithaca College has passed away. She was also the only one at IC who saw that I was getting distracted from my studies at one point, and pointed this out to me.

To Connie's family: She was truly an interesting, intriguing woman. I am glad I got to know her & wish she had lived longer so I could have spent more time with her.

I am very sorry to hear of Connie's passing. She would come to the Kino Border Initiative's center in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico to serve and support the migrants we accompanied there. She always had a deep concern for their well-being. I am grateful for all she did for our work on the border. May Connie rest in peace.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Constance sounds like she had a wonderful life. I hope she's off exploring new territories. With love, Diane

What a fascinating life Constance had! Oh, the stories she could tell! May that smile of hers remain in your hearts and see you through this sad time. Much love,Dixie

Has a senior at Ithaca college and failing my numerical analysis course with Connie Ellison at midterm she never gave up on me and went the extra effort to ensure that I could pull my failing grade around into an A at finals.
This photo was taken during the Antigua boat race when Fred and Connie invited me down to spend the time with them and the Caribbean.
