Not sure what to say?

Ms. Grimm I thank you for your History lessons but more so your lessons on life. Was in same class of Mann 73 as Rebecca who previously posted. Ms. Grimm did talk frankly about sex and drugs. I will always appreciate her concern and commitment to education and expanding our horizons. I eventually made it to Boston and smiled as I walked around the city. I felt like I had been then before from her stories. Vaya con Dios Ms. Grimm.

I HAVE SO MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF MY TEACHER MRS. CONNIE GRIMM. I loved being in her class at Horace Mann (1973) and so enjoyed her love and knowledge of History. We all loved all her wonderful stories about her life and all her sage advice, especially to us girls. Her favorite saying to us was, "Don't advertise babies, don't advertise." She was telling us to respect our bodies and expect nothing less from the boys. What I appreciated most was that she allowed us to have frank discussions...

Thank you Mrs. Grimm for not only being a wonderful teacher, but teaching us life lessons that I still remember to this day. I still have the picture I took on your last day before your retirement and will always keep it in memory. I will miss you. TJHS c/o '94

She did mean so much to her students...in fact I used one of her quotes, yesterday, "I am VERY right-handed" It came from the time she had to drive a stick shift vehicle in England(while visiting family) and had to shift gears with her left hand. She was a gem.

I was very fortunate to have her for class.

My sincere condolences,

May she rest in peace . She made a mark in my life and I will never forget her having her in US government ! Someday she had a good sense of humor on things but she always was a great teacher. She will be missed dearly ..
