Constance Harabedian (nee Reilly), age 87. Beloved wife to John K. “Jack”, daughter of Joseph and Martha, passed away peacefully January 21, 2022 in the loving care of her beloved family. She is survived by sons Michael J. (Rhonda) of Burnsville, NC, James M. (Michelle) of Waxhaw, NC, and John M. (Joy) of Richfield, OH and daughter Nancy E. who helped care for mom in her later years. Also surviving are grandchildren Aaron, Ryan, Katelyn and John. Sister Eileen Bohrer of Erie, PA and was preceded in death by brother Richard Reilly.
Born and raised in Erie, PA she graduated with honors from St. Benedicts School then worked for Marathon Electric. She met and married Jack and lived most of her life in the Cleveland area, enjoying 65 years of marriage. She raised her three boys like triplets as identical twins joined their 16 month older brother. As with their younger sister, she taught them by her upright example of what made a good mother and a wife – a learning they would later cherish as they married three women with mom’s values. She was eminently successful in that phase of her life’s work with God’s help. She further went on to work with children and parents for 25 years as school secretary at Assumption Church, which was the center of her 52 year deeply religious Christian faith. She was devoted to her Home Church study group. She retired early to join her husband and travel. Winter vacations were spent in Florida from Ft. Myers, Siesta Key and the Naples area. Extended trips discovering the West with repeat visits to the Canadian Rockies, Moraine Lake in particular. She enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Alaska and Ireland.
Visitation Friday, January 28, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at FORTUNA FUNERAL HOME, 7076 Brecksville Rd, Independence, OH 44131. Church Visitation Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. followed by 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Church of the Assumption, 9183 Broadview Rd, Broadview Heights, OH 44147. Mass will be live streamed from Constance’s obituary on www.fortunafuneralhome.com. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
