Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Maniscalco was my mother’s best friend. When she, Virgina Zummo, died from cancer in1964, Mrs. Maniscalco was like a substitute Mom for Tom, Jim,and myself. Her son, the late Nick Maniscalco, was my best friend. Not only is Nick missed so much but now his Mom is passed as well. Mrs. Maniscalco was truly a great part of the community. My condolences to family and friends. I noticed Frank Collura mentioned in the obituary and I believe Frank may have been a fellow pilot and best friend of my father's. As I remember Frank was MIA after a mission in the Sakishima's during the Okinawa campaign. If anyone is interested in contacting me I can be reached at
502 938-2839. Ask for Pete. Feel free to leave a message and I'll return your call

Frank, Joseph and Nancy,
Al and I are deeply sorry for your loss. I know my mom cherished the life long friendship she and Connie had.
She will be missed.
We just returned from vacation, otherwise we would have attended your mom' services.

The LA BRASCA family has lost a wonderful friend , a dynamic presence in the Italian/american community .
Her loss will impact many, many families . We have been like family with Connie and her children and
relatives from the 20th and 21st centuries. We continue to miss her husband Joseph and son Nicholas that had
impacted our family. Connie will be rewarded in the arms of our lord & Savior Jesus the King.

Frank, you have our deepest condolences as well as Joseph. Our prayers are with you. Sorry I could not there but as you know we are in Austria. Your mother was really a nice person. RIP Mrs Maniscalso.
