Constance C. (Dumas) Senez, 94 died peacefully Tuesday surrounded by her family. She was born in West Warren, MA on July 10, 1928, to the late Edward & Blanche Dumas. She was a 1945 graduate of West Springfield High School and attended American International College. She was employed as Asst. Manager of E. M. Loew’s Palace Cinema for 7 years and then employed at the former Third National Bank, Bank of New England, and later Fleet Bank for 15 years retiring in 1992 from Bank of America. Connie was a former communicant of St. Louis de France Church serving as Eucharistic Minister & Lector & Sacristan and served on the Parish Council, the Finance Committee and St. Louis Women’s Club. Later St. Louis merged with what was called St, Frances Xavier Cabrini where she was Sacristan, Lector and Eucharistic Minister and is now a communicant of Sacred Heart Parish in Suffield, CT. She also volunteered monthly at Landmark’s Monastery assisting at the Liturgy. She was a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and the NE Patriots. Bowling was one of her favorite pastimes as she was Secretary of West Side Bowling League (formerly St. Louis Bowling League) for the past 20 years and retired as President in 2022. During her retirement, she and her husband traveled to Hawaii, Canada, and the 5 National Parks and visited their children & grandchildren in and across the country. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Laurent Senez, on Nov. 6, 2011. She leaves two sons, Michael & wife Sharon and John; seven daughters, Jeanne Nolan, Therese Parent & husband Kenneth with whom she made her home, Suzanne Price & husband Kevin, Jacqueline Rosner & husband Mark, Diane Brodeur & partner Bob Gorman, Annmarie Wilson & husband Jon, and Elaine Ableidinger & husband David; forty eight beloved grandchildren and their spouses and forty one beloved great grandchildren. She leaves two sisters, Estelle Beauregard and husband Lawrence, and Gloria D’Amico. She was predeceased by her sister Jeannette Mansfield in 2008, and a brother Donald Dumas in 2014. Connie will be greatly missed by all her friends and relatives. Family and friends are invited to meet at Sacred Heart Church, Suffield, CT Monday, Oct 3, 2022, at 10:00am for the Liturgy followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery in West Springfield, MA. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, from 3:00 – 5:00pm. For more information and online condolences please visit curranjones.com.
