Connie Starr was a friend, mentor and an inspiration to me throughout my Suzuki career in Piano and Suzuki Early Childhood Education. She and Bill were most supportive of the development of Suzuki Early Childhood Education, attending SECE classes and speaking at conferences on the topic and encouraging SECE teachers. Connie has made a tremendous contribution to the Suzuki World and her legacy will live on.

What an amazing musician, teacher, mentor, and citizen of the world! It was my great good fortune to be trained by Connie in Knoxville and to teach with her in the Suzuki Piano program before she moved. I will always be grateful for the influence she had on my life. The world shines a little brighter because she was here. Love and condolences to all the family. Dianne Stewart
