Constantine Philippos "Dinos" Iordanou

I worked for and with Dinos for four years at AIG. Later, when he went to Berkshire Hathaway, I helped him with Cypress, their workers compensation carrier in Los Angeles. Two things stand out when I think about him. He was the smartest person I ever met. He worked very, very hard and put in long hours. It wasn't a surprise that he accumulated wealth. He did it the hard way, he earned it.

My first memory of Dinos was on the golf course. He had a unique golf swing that must have been a product of his years playing soccer. The ball was hit with a lot of leg action and it was hit with violence!! He loved the game and the banter that went with it. He also liked to " hold court" after the game with interesting stories about his life. Dinos loved and lived the American dream. He was a good friend to many and will be missed by all that knew him.
